THE COX CAPITOL THEATRE presents…

THE DELTA SAINTS
With opening act The Floorwalkers

This music is a fusion of traditional southern soul & funk, layered with a furious harmonica that ties the group together & threatens to unseat it all at once. It has the familiar comfort of porch music but plugged in and turned up; The Delta Saints are driving listeners from their porches right to the edge of their seats. The Delta Saints is fueled by talent and a passion to relate to one another. With a language-like quality, you can hear the conversation between five men as they speak to one another through their instruments and to us as well…about love and loss & the consequence.

“…with a whip-smart, harp-and-dobro driven take on the blue, the Delta Saints are throwing down a raucious and righteous sound that more than lives up to the adopted name. With two artfully packaged, self-released EPs and a killer live DVD already on the market, the Delta Saints have spent the last few years cultivating a serious buzz and a rabid fan base around the Music City and throughout the southeast.”
- Peter Cronin, SESAC Magazine

Real live blues music is an endangered species these days, and original blues songs are even rarer, so Nashville had better hold onto a band like The Delta Saints while they can, because they may not be playing 12th & Porter forever if they keep pumping out rockin’ music and wowing crowds the way they did Friday night.
