The Cox Capitol Theatre is available for private rentals (receptions, parties, fundraisers, etc.). The following is a listing of our Facility Rental Rates. Our rates include a House Manager, and up to two (2) additional personnel, as required. These rates do not include any Food & Beverage items or any “Professional” personnel required (i.e. Sound Technician, Security, Fire Marshall, etc.).
Non-Profit Organizations are eligible for a 50% discount on the rates due to a Grant awarded to the Cox Capitol Theatre by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Please note that our customary discount for non-profit organizations is 20%. Our rates for non-profit organizations will revert to the normal rate once the grant has expired.
Weekday Rental Rates
Daytime Rentals, Monday through Friday, are $100 per hour (subject to a three (3) hour minimum). This rate is valid until 5:00 P.M. After 5:00 P.M., rates are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday $300
Wednesday $500
Thursday $750
Friday (after 4:00 P.M.) $1,500
Weekend Rental Rates
Saturday and Sunday – $100 per hour (subject to a three (3) hour minimum). This rate is valid until 4:00 P.M.
Saturday (after 4:00 PM) $1500
Sunday $750 (after 4:00 PM)
