Support the Cox Capitol Theatre

We would like you to a be a part of this very special and exciting project—the revitalization of one of Macon's finest historical landmarks, The Capitol Theatre.

Our Board of Directors, with the help of NewTown Macon, has spent the last year acquiring the property, stabilizing the structure and finalizing our operational program. We must now concentrate on completing our fundraising and are asking your help with this matter.

To date we have received commitments of $850,275 comprised of cash, material, volunteered construction labor, and tax credits to be used for the revitalization. Every contribution gets us closer to our goal of $1,300,000. Once we have reached this goal and all pledges are paid, we will be on our way to becoming a self-sustaining operation that will no longer need the financial support of the community. With your help we will conclude interim financing arrangements and complete the ground level construction. We thank you for any support you may be able to provide.
